Double Celebration for Maidstone Aquatics

Maidstone Aquatics owner Mark Smith could not be more enthusiastic about his aquatic business as he is right now. A recent fun filled 10th anniversary weekend celebration has been great for business and his store has been transformed beyond all recognition by an impressive re-fit. CASCO is the company Mark chose to supply the new display aquariums that re-launched his business and propelled it to another level. With a 2,500 square foot store looking a million dollars and the promotional weekend attracting a great deal of customers, the future is looking really bright for Maidstone Aquatics!

Before and after pictures clearly show the difference a professional re-fit can make to a store's overall image with clean lines, good lighting, bright fixtures and all clutter hidden. Mark said, “I was thinking of moving premises to grow the business, but then I realised the shop needed to be ‘better’ rather than ‘bigger’ to achieve outstanding results”. Mark looked at different companies’ products whilst planning the re-fit and CASCO came out top for him. Mark explained, “Other products lacked that edge, I wanted quality and I liked the look and feel of the CASCO fixtures. I went for CASCO’s bright fresh products, I could see the quality and felt they would stay looking good for a long time”.

It took 2-months for a new roof, rewiring, painting, shelving and carpets to go in at Maidstone Aquatics and just two days for CASCO to fit 14 racks of display aquariums, lighting and AquaWave fascias. Mark said, “CASCO were professional, helpful and patient whilst the initial plans where tweaked several times and eventually finalised. There was no pressure from CASCO during the decision making process, which I liked as it was a major spend for me and I needed to be sure”. Regarding the installation, Mark could not praise the CASCO fitters enough saying, “They were in and out before I knew it, they vacuumed as they went and could not have been more efficient. I would definitely recommend CASCO products and fitters and I liked the way the team handed the whole process from initial planning to final completion”.

Since Maidstone Aquatics opened Mark has continuously re-invested profits back into the business adding new products and expanding ranges. The 4-day 10th Anniversary weekend, included advertising, 10% discounts throughout the store and plenty of hospitality. Several lucky customers won tank set-ups in raffles over the weekend too.
