Successful Global Pet Expo for CASCO Group

Global Pet Expo 2009 was yet another fantastic trade show for CASCO Group. With the addition of new sponsor GPE, this was the second time in a row CASCO teamed up with Pacific Store Designs (PSD) and PetPowerRadio.com to offer one winner a $30,000+ store remodel. The prize included Pet and Aquatic store fixtures provided by CASCO, a remodel design plan from Pacific Store Designs and in-store radio and advertising station specific to the winning store provided by PetPowerRadio.com. The impressive booth remained continually busy while helping achieve a record number of show contacts for CASCO this year.  

The CASCO giveaway booth was located on the main aisle of the conventional hall. This year at GPE, CASCO Group displayed exciting, new commercial equipment from their European manufacturing facility mixed with several of their standard US Aquatic and Pet store fixtures.  New to CASCO US, the European style Small Animal House was definitely the eye-catcher of the show, along with the new Wave tank and TV aquatic rack.  The CASCO booth definitely stood out with their striking white commercial display.

Not happy with 1,000 sq ft for commercial fixtures, CASCO also used 800 sq. ft. to display their unique and innovative Retail products, which enjoyed as much success as the commercial booth.   A highlight of the booth was their stylish Life Aquarium Collection, the newest addition to the biOrb family of aquariums.  Several other CASCO retail products were showcased and received well by the attendees.

The winner of the $30,000 giveaway was announced Saturday, February 14th by APPA Vice President, Andy Darmohraj and CASCO Europe COO, Matthew Bubear. The winner for Global Pet Expo giveaway went to Dave and Lisa MacDonald from Nahacky’s Aquarium, in Melbourne. Florida.  Their 2,000 sq. ft. store was established in 1961 and is filled with salt and fresh water fixtures.  The store is ready for a little updating and the owners were very pleased with the prize, excited to get started with their remodel.

Without a doubt, CASCO endured an excellent show!
